Multinational Corporations, why are they “Multinational”?

As you can see from the above picture a multinational corporation is a large company that is registered in more than 1 country, it is also a company that produces or sells items in many countries, as stated in my “Globalization” post all the methods for companies expanding into other countries are addressed there most companies expand into other countries by buying or taking over a small company that’s in the large companies target country, this method guarantees instant multinational status because you now have operations in more than 1 country.
